VACANCIES FOR ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER

HND, BSC, MSC in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, and bridges.
• Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
• Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes.
• Inspect parts for surface defects.
• Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.
• Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
• Train others to install, use, and maintain robots
• Analyze engineering designs of logic and digital circuitry, motor controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition for implementation into new or existing automated, servomechanical, or other electromechanical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement electromechanical designs in industrial or other settings.
• Translate electromechanical drawings into design specifications, applying principles of engineering, thermal and fluid sciences, mathematics and statistics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
• Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.


• Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Write reports and record data on testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
• Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades and enhancement.
• Prepare layouts of machinery, tools, plants, and equipment.
• Prepare specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, and systems related to the generation, transmission, or use of mechanical and fluid energy.

2 to 3 years experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of machine
