Strategy and Business Development Manager Position

• Investigate the economic conditions surrounding our business activity such as industry trends and competition.
• Conduct extensive market research prior to starting up business and continue gathering information throughout the life of the business.
• Prepare a detailed business plan so you will not lose sight of your goals and objectives.
• Conduct brain storming session to produce Proposal and presentation in response to brief and other related document.
• You will also present in a pitch and be a spoke person for the company when the need arises.
• Network with other businesspeople to establish a support group.
• Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry.
• Adopt a team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals.
• Develop a situation analysis of the company including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business.
• Run business development projects in the area of communication services & technology.
• Set-up business cases and performs relevant research.
• Support product idea generation and product development process.
• Collaborate strongly with business/competitor analysis, product management and projects teams.
• Co-operation with senior management regarding development and execution of strategy projects.

Skills, Requirement & Qualification
• Must possess a Bsc or HND in Management or related, a Master Degree will be an advantage.
• 8-4 years of experience in the same position or relevant (ideally with communication/marketing/public relations/IT focus), alternatively in strategy/business/product development or (strategic) controlling department.
• Excellent analytical mind & structured work approach.
• Distinctive problem resolution skills and excellent abilities to abstract.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.
• Advanced command of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Sensitivity to work in a multi-cultural environment..
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• Strong interest in or passion for Communication and Public Relations is a must.
• Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude.
