Application for the post of Staff Nurse

I am a United Kingdom Registered Nurse (PIN no: 05G055E) trained at the Thames Valley University, Slough, UK. As a General Nurse, I have acquired various experiences having worked in hospitals (medical and surgical wards), community health services and nursing homes.

My working experience has exposed me to different strategies in dealing with patients, relatives and having good working relationship with other health care professionals. Having served sometimes as shift leader, I have the ability to co-ordinate and supervised other colleagues. In addition, I have very good communication skills, and sound computer knowledge.

I have just completed a compulsory 3 months orientation programme for overseas trained nurses in Gwagwalada Teaching Hospital, Abuja. I am now a Nigerian registered nurse with registration no:139,040 (copy of document attached). The orientation exposed me to the nursing working environment within the Nigerian setup as we were made to work in all the Departments/wards in the teaching hospital. My overseas experience and the exposure during the orientation will be brought to practice in the provision of seamless healthcare for patients. In addition, I can easily learn and adapt to new skills and working environment.
