OIL RIG JOBS - JOB TITLE: Production Engineer

Job Description :

• To monitor production and individual facilities on a daily basis to detect any anomalies

• To develop remedies for facilities problems and recommend actions to cure the same

• Integrate data into a form that can be used to plan operational activities

• Develop work procedures and ensure HSE policies and procedures are adhered to when supervising and carrying out any activity

• Responsible for running and maintaining integrated production modelling for wells, flow lines and facilities in order to understand the efficiency of the current well bores and service facilities by comparing actual measures field data with that presented by the systems nodal analysis.

• Provide recommendations as to how well oil production can be increased through improvements in well head, choke setting, tubing size, gas lift injection rates, production separator pressures, water injection rates etc.

• Make operations input to the design of wells and completions, as well as during well clean up operations.

• Recommend actions to remedy down-hole problems encountered during well interventions.
