OIL JOBS IN NIGERIA - JOB TITLE: Head Of Maintenance

RECRUITING COMPANY : Addax Petroleum

Job Description :

• Support maintenance, offshore and onshore for all maintenance planning matters

• Will be required to travel to each of the locations as and when required to integrate with the field maintenance teams

• To provide comprehensive and integrated planning/system services in support of Maintenance activities

• Co-ordinate the spares, materials, resources and logistics requirements to support the maintenance requirements both onshore and offshore

• Implement a planning regime for planned and breakdown activities into a 90-day activity plan, 12 month look-ahead and 5 year long term plan.

• Develop a functional asset register and a program of recertification in line with DPR requirements for implementation by the Head Inspection, CMMS & Recertification

• Set KPI’s for equipment and contractor based on availability of equipment and performance of contractor

• Monitor and analyse the performance of plants and equipment and use results in advising Operations staff and Management on maintenance schedules and the adequacy, or otherwise, of existing maintenance job routines.

• Advise operations staff on maintenance planning premises and compliance with planned maintenance schedules in order to achieve minimum life cycle cost for assets without compromising operational and safety standards.

• To plan, organize and monitor both routine and non-routine maintenance with a view to achieving optimum utilization of assets at minimum asset life cycle costs while ensuring that they meet operations, safety and environmental standards.

• Schedule and monitor maintenance activities to ensure conformance with statutory and asset integrity requirements.

• Ensure that adequate contractual services cover is in place to support relevant disciplines within area of responsibility.

• Information documentation in CMMS and providing when required on all equipment

• Update CMMS data on personnel, equipment and procedures

• Identify oil rate enhancement opportunities

• Work with office based and field staff to successfully implement production enhancement projects and initiatives

• Apply new techniques, technology and equipment to increase oil production from existing assets

• Provide training and guidance to engineers and technical assistants as necessary

• Identify solutions, by interpreting reservoir data with asset team in order to improve reservoir productivity

• Develop an integrated asset model using Gap / Prosper modeling tools

• Work closely with and report timely and accurately to the Production Manager

• Participate in conceptual design studies

• Provide Production input at Factory acceptance testing and FEED Documents

• Provide Production input at all Hazops and Hazids

• Take responsibility for the integration of Production requirements within engineering design, and implementation of the required Operational Procedures into future oil and gas facilities.

• Provide answers for all technical queries from engineering group.

• Attend Project and other relevant meetings.

• Update current operational procedures for all assets

Minimum of 5 years relevant marine vessel management and audit experience
