A reputable Gas company in Lagos is looking to recruit a National Industrial Manager
Job Description:
The ideal candidate as head of IMS
Ensures that the industrial management system is correctly and permanently applied in the subsidiary.
Implements the optimal conditions for production, storage and distribution of the company products.
Ensures that industry tools are reliable and adapted to the needs of the market
Participates in the preparation of maintenance and investment budgets of the subsidiary
Coordinates the activities of the factory managers to produce the national industrial reporting(s).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation of safety culture in the subsidiary
Ensures safe and reliable operation of units, in accordance with local regulations and company rules relating to health, safety and environment
Ensure compliance with IMS criteria for monitoring of projects, compliance with WCAR standards, monitoring of technical audits and self-evaluations, monitoring of industrial audits and monitoring of procedures for modification of installations (MOC)
Ensures the optimisation and efficiency of the production of each unit
Evaluate the available skills in the technical team and define training needs
The industrial manager in his/her capacity as the design manager takes part in the design of a equipment or all integrated systems, as well as their integration into the complete unit.
Qualifications and Experience:
The candidate must have a Good University Degree from a reputable institution in Science, Electro mechanics and/or an Engineering Related field. Candidate must be proficient in English and French.
He/she must have a minimum of 5-10 years post-qualification as head maintenance and operations or in a similar position.
Candidates experience should cover the following areas:
Knowledge of IMS procedures
Safety and reliability of operations
Production management
Risk control and HHE
Knowledge of regulations
