Job Description : Our client, a leading media entertainment group, is looking to recruit a Senior Online Producer to join their Music division. As Senior Online Producer you will be responsible for creating, commissioning and utilising compelling content to grow revenues from advertising, search and e-commerce.

Qualification- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and reviewing existing and potential content partners to scope, organise and deliver fresh and exciting content or services.

• Driving the quality of customer service and increasing advocacy of the music brand.

• Ensuring appropriate commercial opportunities are maximising.

• Working closely with other teams, such as marketing and design to deliver music related projects Person Specification.

• Experience of managing commercial sites or portals.

• A real passion for entertainment and the mainstream music industry.

• A background in journalism or media publishing is ideal, as a fluent command of the English language and its nuances are vital for this role.

• An excellent knowledge of HTML, homesite, dreamweaver, XML, photoshop and viseo and an understanding of internet protocols are essential.

• Experience of managing key relationships internally and with third party suppliers.

Supported by a Deputy Editor, you'll work closely with the company’s editorial, design and sales teams to produce a lively and compelling fortnightly title for the performing arts sector and classical music industry worldwide.

You’ll work with the live and recorded music sectors, high-profile musicians, music and dance groups, industry executives, government ministers and press departments to reflect the global performance arts industry, and to increase the magazine’s profile.

We seek a highly creative, inquisitive and well-connected individual with solid writing and subbing skills to take Gig to the next level. You will be a meticulous professional trained in the use of QuarkXpress and web-based applications. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential, as is a sense of humour and the ability to thrive under pressure. Language skills would be an advantage.
