Mobilization Manager

Working as Mobilization Manager on the Oil&Gas VISA COE you will have the chance to prove your passion for change, creativity and teamwork.

- Support HQ VISA COE in the implementation of global processes and procedures to ensure compliance with GE and country laws and regulations.
- Oversee and manage cross-border moves into region of responsibility and insure moves are made compliantly - from a VISA and a TAX perspectives - and in an efficient fashion.
- Manage work permit and business visa applications from documents collection to submission.
- Issue flight plan and logistic according to GE T&L policy rules, ensure security rules are respected for Group 1/2 countries
- Recognize immediate compliance concerns for escalation to COE leader.
- Monitor VISA/Immigration processes to maximize performance.
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Work with local Service Management team to forecast critical projects needs ensuring a smooth mobilization.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in immigration compliance role.·Understanding of compliance issues in the immigration environment, including understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and polices.

- Ability to work in a “virtual” team interacting with GE teams working in remote locations and external consultants.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to stand up to business pressures and enforce compliance.
- Ability to know when to escalate issues.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
