Job Description for the MBA Jobs:
To support the Directors of Structured Finance in Specialised Asset Finance, involving highly structured aircraft and ship financing transactions for clients and the Bank;
To support the Directors of Structured Finance in the development and implementation of complex and highly structured transactions for the Bank. These will typically be high yielding transactions which generate high value add for the Banks customers by way of tax, accounting, regulatory or credit enhancement benefits; and/or
To assist in the strategic development of the Structured Finance business.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To implement complex structured finance transactions for clients and the Bank.
To support the Directors of Structured Finance in developing Structured Finance customer solutions and capabilities for the Bank.
To implement Specialised Asset Finance transactions for clients and the Bank.
The following will be Key Objectives:
Minimise risk (including tax, credit, legal and operational risk)
Good relationship management (taken to include external clients and relevant colleagues within the bank).
Maximise revenue generation
Challenges:
Accurately communicate transaction structure and motivation to internal approvers to facilitate an efficient approval process.
Customize complex financing solutions involving arbitrage and complex structures
Identify potential opportunities for Aviation and Shipping transactions at different points in the economic cycle
Execute highly complex and structured transactions together with internal colleagues and external clients smoothly
CAREER DEVELOPMENT:
Opportunity to participate in the development and execution of complex, highly structured transactions which generate high add for the Bank and its customers.
Opportunity to expand knowledge in the following areas:
o Tax, Legal, Regulatory, Accounting aspects of transactions and Specialized Asset Financing
o Potential issues and solutions in cross-border transactions
o Exposure to a wide range of financial products within transactions such as swaps and options
o Transaction Documentation
o Financing & Leasing activities in specialised industries such as Aviation and Shipping.
Work with world-class advisers in Tax, Legal and Accounting firms to devise complex and original structures.
To understand the control mechanisms in place including Operational Risk Tracker (i.e. Key Control Self Assessment) and Compliance Risk Management.
To understand various management reports within the Bank, and be involved in the monitoring, tracking and provisioning of revenues and costs of the Structured Finance team.
Development of close working relationships with other internal units through discussions, execution and post-execution work.
Through involvement in execution of transactions, be able to understand the approval process for Structured Finance transactions.

To assist the COO of CF business to support the management and development of the CF business - Assume independent responsibility for assigned roles and responsibility in the COO team; some of the key responsibilities managed by the COO team are outlined below:
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description for the MBA Jobs: After 1 year of training, to be a Global Markets Head in a small country.
To be responsible for the Global Markets business in the country - the marketing, delivery and management of the Global Markets products in accordance with the Global WB business strategy.
