The position of Corporate Affairs Manager is a leadership role with primary responsibility for identifying business and product opportunities in the marketplace, defining and setting business goals and targets and managing marketing communication activities for the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise account groups to deliver on business goals

• Develop leads for business

• Manage all Marketing communication activities

• Setting targets for Corporate Communications activities

• Management and quarterly reviews of the Corporate Communications budget against agreed targets (evaluation and measurement)

• Responsible for generation of content for MTech communications vehicles

• Define operations policy, ensure and mange work processes

• JOB DESCRIPTION : Manage and coordinate the integration of MTNN Financial systems and the financial systems of MTNN acquired organisations.

• Manage the implementation of the new Financial Systems and ensure seamless transition from old to new Financial System.

• Articulate full understanding of the financial systems’ input expected from the budget owners and coordinators

• Ensure continued improvement in the Budget and Business Planning models and approach.

• Facilitate the loading of the actual budget & forecasting on the Groups Financial System – Hyperion

• Review procedures and documents that detail the software systems and processes for Finance

• Provide direct focus for the financial systems & control unit in order to guarantee deliverables

• Manage the continued development of OFA strategies and ensure regional roll-out for budgeting and reporting analysts

• Manage and coordinate ERP system support activities guaranteeing effective data planning and optimal system utilization

• Analyse, develop, implement and manage financial data & system controls for Finance.

• Manage systems integration objectives with adequate technical support to ensure proper implementation of system integration objectives across various platforms

• Manage business support initiatives (Participate in activities geared towards proper implementation and appropriated use of the ERP System (IFS) as it relates to Finance)

• Ensure all IT platforms within Finance upon which data/information is stored are correctly dimensioned for present and future requirements.

• Enforce MTN Group compliance with MTN Nigeria policies and best practices for managing financial systems and information

• Ensure secured back up of data in all financial systems applications on a regular basis

• Evaluate and recommend methods, tools and systems deemed necessary for optimal systems functioning for procurement

• Participate in the implementation of new products for MTNN

• Gather information related to information technology trends and keep abreast of the facts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: First degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline Certified Information Systems Auditor.

At least 8 years post qualification experience of which includes: • 5 years experience in business/systems analysis

• Systems integration, project management and human resource management

• Customer service orientation

• Management Development Programmes

• 3 years extensive hands-on experience in ERP implementation and other financial systems

• 3 years practical experience as a team leader

• Finance for Non-Financial Managers
