MANAGEMENT JOBS - JOB TITLE: HR Manager - Midlands

RECRUITING COMPANY : Confidential

Job Description : You will be based at our offices in the Midlands, but you will need to travel on a regular basis to our other UK sites.

Your responsibilities:

•Developing a strong relationship between HR and the various departments across the business, providing professional, commercially focused advice as required.

•Continually assessing how the people strategy is being implemented across the business and implementing corrective action where failings are identified.

•Advising line managers on UK/EC employment legislation and applying best practice across the business.

•Identifying potential employment risks within the business and putting in place plans to guard against them.

•Managing various HR projects that support the wider business, implementing HR strategy that is best aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.

Skill Requirement:

•A degree qualification with additional CIPD membership.

•The skills and experience to influence senior managers within the business and to lead a team of generalist and specialist HR professionals.

•Experience gained in a corporate environment with a good understanding of the various aspects of HR such as employee relations, reward and people development.

•A strong commercial focus with the ability to prioritise effectively and to delegate when necessary.

•The ability to work under pressure and manage a number of parallel tasks and projects.

•A high achiever who can deliver to stretch targets.
