CAREER PROFILE:- I have got 15 years of experience in maintenance, process engineering and in plant projects involving conceptualization, purchase and execution.
WORK EXPERIENCE:-
1. Working in Bennett Coleman & Company Limited (Times of India) as Associate Manager Maintenance for Fleet, Utility and Projects for All India operation (14 Press at Different Locations and 18 ware houses) Since March 2008 to till date.
Machines & Equipment handled: -
Tata Trucks/Trailer, Ashok Leyland Truck/Trailer Ford Tractors, Eicher trucks, Toyota car, Mitsubishi Car, Maruti car, Tata safari, Godrej Forklift- 3 Ton, Volta’s Forklift- 4 Ton, Doosan Forklift-3.5 Ton, Macnell Forklift-2 Ton, Jungheinrich Forklift Battery/Diesel-3.5Ton/4Ton. DG Cummins 1250 KVA, 1500 KVA, 2000 KVA, Air compressor, cooling tower, Air conditioners, Air handling unit, Baling press hydraulic operated, Fire pump and Line and Utility equipments.
Responsibility:-
1. Preventive maintenance plan for all Fleets & Utility equipments.
2. Optimum utilization of Fleet, Shop Floor activities engineering related and implementation of best engineering practices.
3. Management of Engineering spare parts, Vendor development, Inventory control.
4. Setting targets for technicians and their regular appraisal, Training of technicians and Operators - on the job training (OJT).
5. Emphasis on cost reduction under CMC or Out of CMC, Budgetary Forecasting & control. Monthly and yearly maintenance cost Tracking.
6. Breakdown maintenance, overhauling, fault diagnosis & analysis.
7. Uptime data and diesel/ton and maintenance cost tracking for all Equipment.
8. Health checks audit of Fleet and Utility equipment across the country and implementation of Daily checks and Preventive checks.
9. Purchasing of Machinery, time bound project execution, material handling and stores management.
10. Worked in ISO 9001-2000 & 14000, 5S, Kaizen, SAP-R3 & Quality systems.
Achievements:-
- In Repair Breakdown & Scheduled maintenance, cost reduction approx.10% & Breakdown Time reduced from 10% to 2% and hence up time increased by 8%/annum.
2.Worked in “Coca Cola India.” Dasna, Ghaziabad (U.P) as “Team Leader”- Fleet & Utility from June 2004 to March 2008.
Responsibility:-
To improve and monitor yield of CO2, High Speed Diesel, and Furnace Oil.
To carry out Maintenance of Ammonia Refrigeration system(640 TR), Air compressors 7 Bar and 40 Bar,750 & 325 KVA Cummins DG-set, Boilers(4T and 5T), Air Handling Unit, Cooling towers, Hydrant system, Daewoo Forklifts, Tata Trucks, CO2 Bullets, Chilling Plant, Air Conditioner’s, Water Treatment Plant and ETP.
To execute various Capex and Energy Saving projects.
Achievements:-
1. Improved the CO2 yield from 52 % to 68 % & boiler efficiency from 80 % to 88% by improving condensate recovery system, controlling blowdown, maximizing operating pressures and developed boiler efficiency monitoring system.
2. Developed Air compressors and Ammonia Refrigeration efficiency monitoring system .
3. In Repair, Breakdown & Scheduled maintenance cost reduction approx.18%/annum & Breakdown Time reduced from 14% to 1% and hence UP time increased by 13%
4. Winner of SME (Subject Matter Expert) award in Northern Region for the year 2005.
5. Audi tee for the Global Safety Audit – Utility Department.

3.Worked in Golden Auto Engineering Company Ltd. a Division of Sona Group of Industries, Lagos Nigeria, as “Transport Manager” from June 2003 to May 2004.
