How To Survive A Job Loss And Become Financial Free...

Job loss , whether planned or unplanned can be a devastating event. However, like a reader told me by email the day I wrote about surviving job loss, it can also be an opportunity for the person who has lost his/her job to look within themselves and find another path for their career and life.
So I did some casual research and found out that for most people who do see the loss as an opportunity (after they have goner through the process of grieving the loss), self employment id the next option they consider. Especially if they have a compelling vision/dream/idea/hobby they can turn into profit. Even if they don't have an idea, they do a market scan, identify which business is "in" or "hot", with little or no entry barriers, and plan to jump right in. This is not always a good idea.
A young friend called the sometime ago to discuss starting a business. He called because he knows that I have had flirtations with starting and running a business and if my record is anything to go by, I have a lot of information on what no to do. However, this caller needed to know what to do. "Uche", he sighed, "How can I start with the ideas and dreams I have for a business?"
The question in itself was addressable and I have to invite him over to my office. The next day, he showed up full of hope and eagerness to digest every bit of information I was about to share with him. After the chit-chat, I asked him series of questions and noticed he had a passion for selling.
Like magic, I sent him a business package of which he paid for. He was full of gratitude and left. Two weeks later, he called to share how the business has been thriving and progressing and promised to call back at my office of which he did!
Charles was once an employee of a financial instution until a restructuring programme led to a lay-off which found him back on the job line. He search endlessly for a well paying job but wasn't interested in the openings he found. On one of his job hunts at a bank, he ran into Bimpe, an old school mate. She came in to cash a cheque while he came in search of a job opening. The serendipitous meeting changed his life forever.
Bimpe told him how she had also searched for a non-existent job in a saturated financial industry until she decided to do something different with her life. She shared with him how she started her own profitable business with what she had and started from where she was. Now, she has become a Boss of her own and doing what she loves after taking the initiative of getting the business package and living the life of her dreams.
Charles couldn't hold back his tears and pleaded with her to show him how to go about it. Now, Charles is beaming with smiles having learned and worked with Bimpe and he too is on his way to financial freedom.

The business package is a straight from the gut, honest advice/guide and a secret system on how you can take charge of your life and turn your ideas and dream into a real profitable business venture. It also deals with the principle of personal responsibility, a powerful and empowering principle which for me is the anchor for achieving sustaining and financial results.
The way to create a future different from your past or present is to have a clear picture of where you are standing in life. Learn to accurately describe where you are without missing out any details.

When you are able to pinpoint your actual location in your life's journey, then you will be able to take accurate stock of your current resources. Where you are is not where you wish to be. Your wishes are not your reality. What will change it is action. You can take positive action only after you have taken a firm grip on reality.
What most people like about the business package which I am told has sold over a thousand plus copies barely after it was launched, written by a Nigerian so that it is not too far removed in terms of language and strategies you can use. It's never too late to start...
