JOB TITLE: Service Desk Team Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION : Lead a team of Support personnel who provide End-user-support to internal customers in specified MTN locations within a region.

• Coordinate hardware set-up, configuration and logistics arrangements on new locations and sites within the region.

• Monitor the process of escalating unresolved incidents to appropriate authority or professionals in compliance with PPPs’.

• Manage customer expectations as well as achieve customer satisfaction. • Motivate and enhance direct team members’ skills

• Collate and prepare periodic reports and communications on EUS activities in the region.

• Initiate and coordinate communication process and procedures with end-users usually at high-level.

• Develop and continuously improve the processes, procedures and infrastructure required for meeting customer needs.

• Provide direction and motivation to team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of EUS operations in the region.

• Develop innovations for training end-users on self-help tips necessary for first level resolution of end user problems.

• Drive team in the achievement of defined customer service levels.

• Prepare and present reliable trend analyses to help determine focus areas and develop proactive approaches to faults management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

4years experience in IT End User support service delivery • 1 year at supervisory level.

• Compaq and DELL Hardware systems configuration and troubleshooting.

• Service Management software

• People Management skills

• Project Management

• Effective customer service
