JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
I am fully involved in planning of operation, frequently monitors Job Safety Analysis, JSA planning process for additional identified hazards, procedural issues, participant engagement, and administrator engagement of crew. I also mentor crew members. I assess the HES “attitude” of the rig site personnel and organization. I advise Rig Supervision and Port Harcourt Management on both positive and areas of improvement needed. I serve as the principal coordinator of START/STOP Behavior Based Safety System tracking report. The START/STOP tracking report insures a thorough review of daily START/STOP cards and records personnel and equipment issues that need follow-up. The tracking report is also what provides valuable feedback to the crew members ensuring that their observations are addressed by Contractor/Service Partner management. I update the report daily and distribute it weekly. I serve as the principal coordinator of Leading Indicators Report LIR. Currently there are 15 Leading Indicators that provide rigsite & shorebase management a trending to as to the safety culture on the rig. I track these fifteen Leading Indicators and distribute them weekly. I am also involved in various administrative duties like participating and attending daily, monthly, and special meetings. (i.e. 24 hour progress review, Contractor department head meeting, service partner safety meeting, investigation, HES Steering Committee, Pre-tour, Departmental Safety, and etc.). I develop HES short and long term goals for contractors. I also Serve as the principal monitor for environmental compliance for Client. I develop and track environmental issues involving municipal waste management, government monitored to-sea discharges, hazardous and non-hazardous waste compliance, and air emissions data. I participate in monitors, and track action item closeouts of Level 3 HES & Level 4 HES reviews.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensured workplace safety by conducting training, inspections, and investigations and by maintaining documentation and equipment for warehouse facilities with approximately 300 employees.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ensured compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety standards and waste disposal regulations. Reduced accidents and injuries and increased response and recovery time by establishing solid policies and procedures.
• Performed daily health and safety and ergonomics inspections of equipment and office spaces for OSHA and other governmental agencies.
• Maintained and performed weekly and quarterly inspections of the fire pumps and systems and identified the need for routine maintenance. Ordered charts and equipment for proper maintenance and established regular testing schedules.

• Conducted scheduled employee MFA CPR / First Aid safety training classes in earthquake response, evacuations, fire extinguishers, ergonomics, forklifts, and defibrillator operations.
• Initiated maintenance and repair orders for company and rental equipment. Ordered first aid supplies, ergonomic equipment, and other safety related items for employees. Managed budget of approximately $500,000 and oversaw millions of dollars of equipment and supplies.
• Responded to employee injuries and administered first aid as needed for propane leaks (evacuations), cuts and bleeding, and back injuries from improper lifting techniques.
