JOB TITLE: Quantity Surveyor / Scheduler / Planner

RECRUITING COMPANY : Quest Project Personnel

JOB DESCRIPTION : Follow the contractual aspect of all the works. Compare what is requested to what is performed. Application of Scheduling and Planning Procedures of the project, including progress measurement.

Liaise with Project Control to allow comparison of engineering estimates and construction man hours figures.

Regular liaison with all participants in the site team (construction, HSE, QA / QC, Commissioning).

Liaise with project control team regarding all planning and contract aspects

Carry of analysis of a scheduling document in order to inform Construction Manager of any potential slippage in Project progress.

Propose a corrective action to negate any potential slippage and suggest strategies to be implemented.

Liaise with Head of planning to maintain project planning documents at required levels.

Provide on a periodic basis, all relevant information needed for correct Construction follow-up.

Participate in the preparation and execution of shutdowns. Be aware of all Site activities in order to assist in the compilation of site Management Report which Management will validate before dispatching.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

University degree is preferable. Primavera version 5.1 and M.S. project experience essential.

QS and/or planning engineering experience.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 5 years
