To create and manage effective relationships that facilitate the growth of the unsecured lending asset portfolio within consumer bank
To asses the risk profiles of customer segments and contribute to the Development of effective control measures within the PDD.
Ensure maintenance of a healthy business environment through strict compliance with AML and CRM standards as defined by the Group and Local Regulatory Authorities
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Management
To grow the Unsecured Customer Segment through a focussed market segment approach by creating effective relationships that maximise revenues and Asset growth
Establish relationships with key Corporations to offer them scheme lending
To support in the launch of products, sales strategy, and campaigns to key segments for profitable and quality business
Marketing and Campaign Management
Support Branch sales, telesales and Direct sales to achieve Balance Transfer objectives for Kenya.
To support the campaign concept and analyse campaign findings against proposals.
Work with Product Development Manager in the development and execution of Marketing initiatives for the acquisition, retention and growth of target customers base for Unsecured Lending
Relationship Management
Generate referrals from HR, Finance and Senior Executives to acquire, expand and retain profitable relationships and grow market share.
Work closely with other Value Centres to generate sales leads
Work closely with the Corporate Relationship Managers in building relationships with companies on the approved list
Generate referrals and Market Intelligence from the Corporate Relationships Managers
Business Planning & Financial Management
Source potential organisations and recommend their inclusion in the approved company list
Advise the Business on companies which exhibit high risk policies and practices hence control and manage risk
Service Management
Proactively redesign processes to ensure timely loan appraisal, approval and processing
Work closely with Service Quality to integrate new processes in order to enhance customer experience.
Credit Risk
Monitor exposure per company and report as per the Operational Risk framework
Compliance with CRM framework
Ensure the CRM framework is embedded in Unsecured Value Centre through working closely with the operational risk group to ensure the sales units for the format of the CRM matrices
Ensure that Unsecured Value Centre is regularly monitoring and reporting Compliance related risks as per the relevant CRM matrices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: University Graduate with managerial experience in financial services.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: In-depth knowledge of products, services and delivery channels available to small-medium companies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and financial management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, internally and externally.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Ability to identify need for change and to drive the desired changes, adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realising market opportunities.
Thorough understanding of the market and its dynamics.
Knowledge and experience in business credit and trade services is essential.
Experience in Sales or relationship management.
Experience in project management is desirable

Reviewing Memorandum and Loan Loss data base & Processing Loan repayment proposals.
Assist in the recovery activity in the zone
Management of debt portfolio in assigned branches.
Processing of repayment proposals from relevant branches.
Collation of data and rendition of monthly debt recovery reports
Achieve recovery target in line with advised budget from the Zonal Head
Daily recovery calls and daily call memo's evidencing visit made shall be prepared and filled in each customer's file
Forward weekly activity reports and action plan to the Zonal Head every Friday latest 12 noon.
Monthly submission of challenges, recommended solutions and strategic initiatives

Monthly appraisal of debt recovery agents performance e.g. review agents' recovery reports against performance and recommend for exit or continued
