They are looking for a Catering / Restaurant Manager for their busy retail site in Aberfoyle.
The main remit of the Catering/ Restaurant manager position is to maximize profitability by optimising sales opportunities whilst working within planned costs. To manage day-to-day operations, to produce a high standard of food preparation and variety to the menu. To deliver excellent customer service through staff training and personal example.
For this position our client is looking for someone to manage the front of house operation as well as work back of house as and when required, and who can motivate and direct people. They will be required to carry out administration for the unit and have an understanding of Health & Safety.
Candidates must be prepared to work weekends.
Candidates ideally will have experience in a catering environment and will have a recognised food hygiene certification.

Job Description : My client are a hugely successful branded quick service restaurant chain, and due to their continued growth and success urgently require an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a new City Centre Store.
The main responsibilities of the Assistant Restaurant Manager are all based around supporting the Restaurant Manager:
* To ensure the brands' excellent reputation is upheld and the dining experience exceeded.
* Assisting with recruitment, training and staff development for new starters and current team members.
* Managing a team of 10-15 and communicating with them in an appropriate manner to ensure that they are clear on goals and targets.
* Lead by example so that team members are aware of the high level of customer service that they are to work towards .
* Ensuring that all Health & Safety and legal requirements are being adhered to.
* Full support of all back-room operations from Restaurant Managers delegation.
* Ensuring stock levels are sufficient and correct .
Requirements:
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you must be able to prove your dedication to customer service to the highest of levels. You must be able to lead and motivate and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
