Job Description : We are seeking experienced type rated engineers with a minimum of 5 years line maintenance experience on B737-700. Candidates will be able to perform trouble-shooting and rectify the defects (not only wheel and brake unit changes, adding oils, refueling aircraft, removing/installing components). We call them “maintenance controller” or “maintenance inspector” in airline environment.
Your licenses must be European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved. We work in conjunction with Lufthansa Quality team and therefore your licenses and training certificates need to meet EASA requirements. Job Description : Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to In-flight Entertainment (IFE) systems including:
Troubleshooting electronic units, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory. Accomplishment of necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling. Carry out on job training of other maintenance personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisors or upper management. Qualifications: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Category B2 Maintenance Engineer’s License or ICAO equivalent; plus 3 years experience in avionics and electrical maintenance of new generation aircraft, including maintenance of new technology IFE systems. Experience on Panasonic and Thales IFE system/s will be an added advantage. (Type training on Arik IFE systems will be provided) . Good computer skills JOB LOCATION : Lagos, Nigeria
