Associate Global Auditor for Africa

RESPONSIBILITIES for Associate Global Auditor for Africa:
· Develop and execute financial, compliance and process audit plans
· Risk assess routines, controls and new areas
· Participate in internal investigations as requested
· Communicate with local, regional and global leaders as needed
· Support company initiatives and ad hoc projects as requested
· Work as a constructive team to achieve group objectives

· Develop professional skills and leadership capabilities in preparation for internal promotion





REQUIREMENTS:
· 3-5 years working experience in finance, accounting, auditing or related field
· Fluent in English and the local language for this market (written and oral)
· Self-motivated, independent and ability to execute with minimum supervision
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
· Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
· Willingness and ability to travel Internationally, up to 100%, as needed for a minimum of two years
· No restrictions on entering the United States of America for training or business meetings


Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX or IAS
· Member of a chartered accountancy
· Strong communication
· Experience auditing or working in a Fortune 500 company.
