Reduction of staff turnover on the northern area which is my responsibility I have a site compliment of 62 security officers per shift, 8 vehicles and 2 motorcycles. My area is Midrand, Randburg, Inner-City and Alexandra.
This was the compliment almost for the past year; I was in control of the task team as well. The duties of the task team was to target vagrants and what we called bush sleepers, we targeted these members on a daily basis this insure reduction of thefts in many areas. We worked with SAPS on copper operations were we targeted metal scrap dealers in the Gauteng area. We gathered information by making use of a network of informers, through this we managed to cath copper sindikates, car thiefs and people that commited more agrivating crimes. Some of this duties was mostly done with the police under my strategie and planning. The task team was unfortunately closed down by the client due to budget reasons. I am currently running the guarding in the northern region which consists of one supervisor, one investigator and 20 officers per shift.
