Why do they need a self taught creative designer instead of a formally trained designer? The truth is that most advertising jobs like graphics and animations need more of practical than theoretical formal training. If you have been learning on your own, they know you are more practical.
They also avoid designers that are too professional for full-time jobs. Do you know why? Because they require higher salaries. Most advertising professionals find it difficult to work for any company full-time they know they can earn better on their own anyway. So. Who is a design professional?
